Week 9 April 29-May 5
It was another busy week...trying to fit in the photography adventure between all the other things that need to get done. I took a series of macro photos once again on a nice Sunday afternoon. And, as usual, there was some wind, so I had to be patient.
Lots of small buds are appearing and that was my major focus. I was hoping that some things would be further along. Again, patience! It will get there, maybe later than sooner!
Anyhow, I do enjoy myself when I'm out and about in the 'hood. There are always lots of people out walking, many with their dogs and some just walking for the health of it! I am always amazed that even if I am out for an hour taking photographs, my actual "walking" time is only about 20 minutes. The rest of my time is standing by the "subject" and then waiting for the right moment to click. Sometimes I will stand in a spot for several minutes, focusing and composing the photo. I have walked away from some potential subjects to photograph because I can't get the shot that I want! In many cases, I will come back another day.
