Week 11

Week 11 - May 13-19

This is week 2 of our road trip from Thunder Bay to Kingston with stops along the way.  The above photo was taken in Bath, Ontario (22 km outside of Kingston) near the home of my husband's sister and brother-in-law.  They sold their home in Toronto and moved to Bath to start enjoying their retirement.  The area where they live is a new development near the water (Lake Ontario).

I went on an adventure walk to see what I could find to photograph.  Let's just say there was a ton of photo ops without having to go very far at all.  It was just a beautiful morning, with the sun shining and birds singing.  A few people were out and about walking dogs.  I think I was the only one with a camera.  I managed to use all three of my lenses, changing back and forth.  It was truly an enjoyable (and warm) morning.

I spotted the dandelion on my walk back to the house.  At that time, I thought I was pretty much done with my photography shoot when I spotted the dandelion fluffs.  Out came the macro lens again and I took a few shots.  This was the one I liked best, due to its simplicity.
