Week 5

Week 5 - April 1 - 7

It was a busy week.  We were in Toronto from the previous Friday (March 30) until Monday, April 2.

For this week's photo, I went to my usual walking path near the house.  It is amazing to me how many interesting things there are to photograph along the path.  People always ask me "What are you taking pictures of?"  I tell them that there is a ton of stuff - new buds, leaves, water, grasses, weeds.  It's all much more interesting with digital photography.

I found this tree with new forming buds and I just knew it would be amazing to photograph.  I took several shots of the tree and branches.  A solid background would have been more to my liking, however, sometimes you don't have too much choice.  There were other trees and a creek in the background so I tried to blur it as much as I could.

It was another day of wind and waiting in between gusts to shoot my photos.  I am learning to be very patient, which is a good thing!
